Checkmate in Long Sleeve Lace

Checkmate in Long Sleeve Lace

When you find "the one" both your partner, and your wedding gown, it feels like it was meant to be. We can't help you on that first part - that's up to you, the universe, and maybe your auntie setting you up on a blind date, but helping you find your dress, that's what we live for here at The Castle, and remotely through our salons around the world. Finding your dress is a little like a game, and when it happens, you definitely feel like a winner! OK, that sounds corny, but it's so true! These two are NOT playing any games with this intimate elopement inspiration photographed by Natalie Leonnig. Nothing but pure beauty and some queen vibes going on here with our gorgeous bride dressed in the Beverly gown. Long fitted sleeves, a high neckline that somehow manages to be both modest and seductive? This fitted silhouette has a vintage Victorian vibe meets modern bohemian. Just the right touch of romance mixed with this classic lace, and the result is timeless. And of course, it wouldn't be a Claire Pettibone dress without a statement back. This one has a keyhole open back with scallop lace details. And if you've been following my work for awhile, you know that we can customize this dress in so many ways! From a fully open back, high collar neckline, to plunge V-neck in the front, short sleeves, billowing sleeves...the list is as varied as our brides. That's the beauty of ordering a custom gown with us - we make each dress to order, so customizations made just for you result in a one-of-a-kind creation. Absolutely! A long lace train will make for some gorgeous moments, from your walk down the aisle, to portraits with your beloved. And not to worry, we'll create a beautiful bustle for later, so you can dance the night away. Most of our bustles can be done with just a single hook, and our brides are always amazed at how easy they are. No crazy diagrams, or your bridesmaids trying to figure out a maze of loops and buttons. At the most, we might have 3 points, and we can find the most beautiful way to drape the fabrics to best flatter you and your dress. But before you bustle it up, you might want to have your partner carry that beautiful lace...again, some pretty dreamy photo ops! I always love how lace looks against the skin, and a fitted long sleeve, or a flowing bohemian style, or even a vintage bishop sleeve is a beautiful design detail. If you're still looking for your dress for fall 2022, NOW is the time to make that choice! Since we make our dresses in-house in our atelier, we can still make some dress-dreams come true, but it's time...come on in and we'll help you find the perfect match.
